so see last week, my family and i went to this bonnke's talk at the indoor stadium.
IT was truly inspiring.

the cancer patients came in wheelchairs, hospital beds and all those weak people came.
i felt the Lord's presence on me that day.

Reinhard Bonnke preached this," imagine the JESUS as a swimmer, lost souls are on the water, haplessly drowning. Jesus extends his arm and swim and save you. but you have to give him a sign. That you want to saved. "
and he resued me right that instant. i felt the glory of our GOD AND JESUS at the stadium, people crying, exalting, i noticed miracles as people who could not walk, walk from a wheelchari, could not breathe, breathe.

I hope more souls would be saved.

we should all give in to the Potter's hand.

Hello, i'm from a catholic church and i'm going to share with yall what my church sermon was about on Sunday - it may be a bit boring, and you might not even understand my english (whatever, i'm reading more and more books to improve my english okay!) but hey, It's my first post :D

Basically, the Priest was talking about prayers and that we should spend some time, even like, 2 minutes , just to say one everyday - school prayers during assembly is NOT counted (:
A simple and short one for general like ,

" Holy and eternal God,in you we live and move and have our being.In all our cares and occupations,guide and govern us by your Spirit,that we may both remember and reveal your presence;through our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen. "

I know the Christian and Catholic prayers are different, but afterall, we ARE praying to the same God and God has created us equally - we all have flaws.

We dont need to pray like, 10 times a day just to be a good Christian/Catholic. Neither do we have to attend Church Everyday just to be a 'qualified' one , God loves everyone of us, he doesn't want us to be Nuns when we grow up, He wants us to do anything that we can achieve and when we are satisfyed, He will be satisfyed - knowing that we are living our life fully, afterall, He was the one who sacrificed Himself on the cross just for us. Without Him, there wouldn't be any us. Because of Him - attending church, mass, etc. - we have different mindsets , like kindness,humility,modesty etc. and we can tell what's right and what's wrong.
Without Him, we wouldn't have someone to turn to/talk to (pray) when we're upset or stressed.
So, a simple prayer, long or short, everyday , would help to keep the christian/catholic 'fire' burning in you.

Not long ago in church, our lower sec leader Sister Kassey told us about prayer and how to pray(: Like when we pray out loud,its for a great reason-its to declare and believe in faith that our prayers WILL WORK!!! =D its an action to declare our faith and passion in Him=]

Hey agape, when we pray, THE HOLY SPIRIT transforms US!!!=] and whatever we ask in prayer, it shall be given unto us=]

And yea, hey people,=] if ya'll r not sure how to pray, don't be afraid or worry about your prayer being too short,or too long, or not spiritual and strong like other people, "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very our what you ought to say." luke 12:12 =]

It's ok if you wan2 pray about something but don't know how to put it in words and just say "lord,please help me" or "Lord,thank you for this day, i don't know how to put these words to you, but please help me" for this verse says: "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of god."

Ooooo agape, i got so many things to say to you!!!=D For those feeling weary, and feel so tired, those who feel like giving up and its too stressful, read this from a devotional reading:

"Waiting on god and abiding in His will is to know Him in 'the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings'(Phil3:10) and 'to be conformed to the likeness of his Son'(Romans8.29). Therefor if God's desire is to enlarge your capacity for spiritual understanding, do not be frightened by the greater realm of suffering that awaits you. the Lord's capacity for sympathy is greater still, for the breath of the Holy Spirit into his new creation never makes a heart hard and insensitive, but affectionate,tender and true.=]"

And this:

"The most difficult ingredient of suffering is often time. A short, sharp pain is easily endured, but when a sorrow drags on its long and weary way year after monotonous year, returning day after day with the same dull routine of hopeless agony, the heart loses its strength. Without the grace of God,the heart is sure to sink in dismal despair.

Joseph endured a long trial,and God often has to brun the lessons he learned into the depths of our being, using the fires of prolonged pain. "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver"(Mal.3:3), yet He knows the specific amount of time that will be needed. Like a true goldsmith, God stops the fire the moment He sees his image in the glowing metal.

Hi everyone!

So I'm taking this course in my church called Masterlife, it's mainly to have more faith in God and grow spiritually, us being the teenagers we are and probably not having much maturity in us, which is why we need God right? Okay so for Masterlife we're supposed to spend at least about 20-30mins with God everyday and memorize verses from the Bible and I came across this verse and I think it means alot.

"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow me." -Luke 9:23

These are the basic guidelines to being Christ's disciple; and to me, honestly, being a faithful disciple isn't an easy feat. Denying ourselves include giving all glory, praise and credit that we receive from others' to God, and sometimes we just take it all in and are either too lazy or feel that there's no need to say, "All this is only possible by the grace of God," perhaps for fear that our friends might think of us differently or the ridiculous thought that sometimes enters our mind when we're not thinking carefully: that all was accomplished by our own power and actions.

Taking up our cross daily; many think that this is a burden and a sacrifice, suffering hardships for the Lord. However, it should not be so. Taking up our cross refers to giving up our whole lives to God, as Jesus gave His life for us. This involves bearing burdens, but it is deeper than that. It is a total dedication of life. Our whole life is given to His service in anything He says. This will lead us to willingly deny self. I, for one, know that this is hard, that we sometimes get so tired after a long day at school and are just too lazy to do our quiet time and spend time with God, that we don't hunger to get to know Him better, to fellowship with Him. It's like how if you love someone, you would want to hear his/her voice and will always be eager to call him/her or receive a call from him/her. This should be the way for God as well - we should yearn to hear Him speak to us.

Life is continuous learning, and as our faith in God grows stronger and stronger, we will learn to follow him as faithful disciples. Yes, sin is inevitable. Yes, we may be tempted by the devil. But let's not dwell on the past but pray for forgiveness and with the right heart, you will be forgiven, and all will be forgotten. Think of all those who have wronged us, all those we've wronged. If God can forgive us for all the horrible things we've done, can't we extend that same grace to everyone else? Can't we learn to love those we dislike at this moment, even though it's hard and even though they would think we were being fake by displaying politeness and being civil to them? Can't we forget all that's been done to us, but focus on what we're going to do next? With God's grace, can't we overcome all this? Can't we at least do our best to give back all the He's given to us?

I'm sure we can.

Hello everyone(:

sorry we've not been posting for quite some time. But anyway that aside.

Today is the first day of the month of March. How time flies, already two months have gone by just like that. Anyway, I want you to really reflect on what you did these two months, did you just let the days past worthlessly or did you do something that made the time you spent on that thing worth it? For Christians/Catholics, did you something in these past two months that would glorify God's name, or did you just waste that time away? It is very important that we as humans reflect once in a while to keep track of our life. Many a times, we waste too much time on doing so many unnecessary things where we could use that precious time to, perhaps, focus more on our studies or something that would really give you a sense of accomplishment. Life is too long to do nothing but too short to do everything. Here are some inspirational quotes that might help or encourage you:

It's how we spend our time here and now, that really matters. If you are fed up with the way you have come to interact with time, change it. -Marcia Wieder

Lost wealth may be replaced by industry, lost knowledge by study, lost health by temperance or medicine, but lost time is gone forever. -Samuel Smiles

And after finding the route of the problem that is wasting your time, work on it. Try your best to plan everything properly, who cares if your friends makes fun of you for being such a organised freak or what have you, at the end of the day, you are running your own race, not your friends. And after planning your time properly, put in into action. God didn't give you a tomorrow for nothing, he gave us a tomorrow to improve from our yesterday. So i want to encourage all of you to use your time well, plan out how you want March to be, it could be a great month for you, or it could turn out otherwise. Reflect and plan out what were some problems you faced in the past two months, and how can you improve on it this month. It wouldn't take to much of your time, perhaps just 10-15minutes. So why not use this 10-15minutes to save you probably much more time.

But no matter what happens, you have a God who will always be there for you. He will support through thick and thin. And don't forget to spare some time for God, if He can spend the rest of eternity with you, so why can't you just spare an hour or even more with Him? Be thankful for what you have, Sieze your tomorrow, learn your yesterday. God love you! and so does Agape!

Jesus has done so much for us, he died on the cross for us and is willing to be our listening ear, a shoulder we can cry on, a helping hand to pick us up when we fall and many other awesome things :D we can definately depend on him! i hope everyone of us will respect him and maintain a good relationship with him! That we will not only depend on him when we encounter problems, but also give him praise and thanks when something positive happens! :D

Hey peeps!!! How's ure week going?(: well,hang on! it's almost the weekend :D well, here's what i heard at church last week(: its about being a Genuine Christian.=]Sounds "chim" to you? don't worry,i'll explain it fully=D hahha you know sometimes when we pray for the passion,the faith,the everlasting hope to keep on burning in us? Well, i hope that for me,and each and everyone of us will go to prayer group with an expectation everyday!!! You know those worship songs that always say of leaving our past behind,and that today's a new day? Yea,we can go to prayer group with an expectation,like when we go to church,we want to be renewed in Christ again=]
Like today when we sang the heart of worship, and almost everyone including Hui Ying was there? yea, we all came for a purpose:to feel God's love, to be strengthened,to want to grow closer and war for our lives and our friends's lives too. (: i believe that someday, we'll grow so strong in Christ, we won't care about the weird looks they give us anymore! we won't care what they think of us or how weird they think we are, praying and worshiping.=] Sometimes, even the strongest christians need pillars to help them along too,to encourage them=] sometimes i feel guilty abouot not spending time with god, and not reflecting, but hey, i think everyday's a new day and a new hope for our expectations to rise in Him! =] God's prescence was really powerful on one day this week- yay! and that made me realise, it stirred up my faith in Him again, to save the lost and realise how beautiful praying was with tongues=] tongues or no tongues, if we believe in faith and do our best to pray and believe passionately for His prescence to fill the whole school, it'll surely come! For he is always with us (:
"It is written: Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" Matthew 4:4 In this verse, God tells us to live by His word and not just by the standards of this world alone (: And if anyone of you, like me, sometimes feel a little bit guilty, and wants to repent and try not to do it again, here's a verse:" Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" Matthew4:17 " Follow me, and i will make you fishers of men" Matthew4:19 (:hahha oh and as i was saying, =] here's what my church spoke abt being a genuine christian:=]

We have to look at ourselves today, and consider whether our faith is one that draws people to God, or pushes people away from God.(: Do people think of us this way: 1) Christians say one thing and mean another? What can we do? Christians say and do everything they mean in faith (: 2) Christians are boring and out of touch with reality, but we CAN be Christians who are engaged=] amen? 3) Christians are insincere and are only interested in converting others, but we can change by acting as Christians who cultivate relationships and environments where others can be transformed by God. =] 4)Christians are prideful and quick to find fault with others, but We believe, that we christians can show grace by realising their fellow people's talents and believe that they can be Christ's GREAT FOLLOWERS.
Wow=] sounds exciting eh? AGAPE!!! Let's bond together, and show compassion and kindness to our friends or people who we rarely know and are lonely! Let's be understanding and forgiving even if people don't come for prayer group everyday or only once in a blue moon( not refering to anyone k?)=] and pray for that person! For prayer works=] Let's also concentrate on our personal walk with God and how our attitudes and character influence our friends in a positive or negative way!=D And HOLD ON PEOPLE!!! The week's ended! Lean on God's strength whenever you're about to sin, for you do not have enough strength to keep ureself pure and not tempted at times=]that's why God died for us=]

I really hope AGAPE will rise up with fire and God's wonderful blessing on it, and we mean what we say or commit to the Lord=] Do good to please God (: Let's build on the rock=]
And those who are feeling lost of feel like giving up, hold on,-come back to the heart of worship.(:

HELLO EVERYONE(:

I want to talk about Friday's prayer group that was on the 30th January. It was super awesome! we had 18 people that day, out of which 7 were secondary ones, some were the ones invited through the 'we are here for you' outreach. Anyway, I just want to tell my precious sec one babies not to feel scared! we're not here to bite or eat you up, we're here to pray for you! It's okay if you attended once and don't feel like attending it again due to various reasons, we're not going to force you to join or anything. But, we will be more than happy if at any point of time wish join the prayer group. We will always be ready to help you! We love you! God loves you!

Anyway, We shared this paticular verse that day,
1 Chronicles 16:11 - Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

To anyone whom may feel stress and feel like breaking down at any point of time, or just feel like giving up. I just want to tell you to perserver and don't lose hope, the Lord is our strength, He'll always be there for you, when you're studying, or, when you're struggling, He'll always be there to pull you back up. Stand strong! you can do all things in Christ who strengthens you! All you have to do is trust your whole life to God, whatever is happening in your life right now, is all part of God's plan. It may be good, it may be bad, but fear not, there's one thing I've learnt that even in the worst of situation, God will alway provide you with a way out, He won't leave you in the lurge. Like i said, He is your support.

If you're a non-Christian or a non-Catholic, you might think i'm talking rubbish or something, but all you have to know is that you have a God that is always there for you. Whether you believe in Him or not, He is always faithful to you, becuase he loves you. But i'm going to tell you something, God is real, He is powerful, and He is a loving Father, who died on the cross for ALL our sins. He sacrificed his own life, just to give us life. Never doubt our GOD-Jesus!!!=D

Hey agape!!=Dhahhah remember tomoro we're gonna take individual photos and a group photo!!!=] hahhah well, i just thought of writing a post today(:

Have you ever doubted god before? I'm sure all of us have doubted Him slightly,whether its thinking that He's real,or whether He'll pull us through our obstacles,or what will happen to us tomorrow,the day after,or in the future(: well,today i just wanna touch on all these things=]

Well,if you're thinking whether God's real or not, sure He is! in the third post, i typed out a verse in Isaiah6:11...you can read on(: there's no such god as idols-we can be sure of that=] and if God wasn't real,we wouldn't feel happy and joyous whenever we praise God in worship, or pray, or even spek tongues!!! tongues is a gift from God=] and He'll always be there for you. For didn't He die for us on the cross and rise again? the Holy Spirit's in us too=] like whenever we say something bad or do something bad,you'll feel guilty and think about your actions(: that's the Holy Spirit in you,pricking ure conscience!!!=D

And whenever you doubt in the Lord, sometimes its God testing you in your faith with Him.=] I used to doubt Jesus alot this year, but whenever i felt His presence at church during worship, I'll always be encouraged again to run the race for Him.(:

For those who feel as if God's not there for you, here's something tt my mum showed me in her book(those bible study books) =]

"Never look ahead to the changes and challenges of this life in fear. Instead,as they arise look at themwith the full assurance that God, whose you are, will deliver you out of them. hasn't He kept you safe till now? So hold His loving hand tightly, and He will lead you safely through all things. And when you cannot stand, He will hold you in his arms. do not look ahead to what may happen tomorrow. the same everlasting father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and everyday. Either He will shield you from suffering or He will give you His unwavering strength that you may bear it. Be at peace then, and set aside all anxious thoughts and worries."

Well,i'm here today to say that we CAN have breakthroughs in our friends lives and ours as well=] because when we pray, something happens in the spiritual realm. Let not the devil lead u ASTRAY!!! For he is the devil of lies and God is the God of truth.

Pesevere,AGAPE!!!For we are a chosen generation,fighting for what we believe in! Let's bring our friends to freedom! For our god is a living God and there is no one else like Him!

"Thus says the Lord, The King of Israel,And His redeemer,the Lord of Hosts:I am the first and the Last:besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as i do? Then let Him declare it and set it in order for Me, Since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, Let them show these to them. Do not fear, nor be afraid;Have I not told you from that time,and declared it? You are my witnesses, Is there a god besides me? Indeed there is no other Rock;I know not one."ISAIAH44:6-8

And let's do it in faith for the glory of Jesus,and even if our friends say we're Godly,just continue to act in the image of Jesus,for sooner or later our friends will start talking about us to their friends:"eh,she's a changed person! isn't that good? I think this has something to do with her god. She's so understanding and nice! She doesnt say vulgarities anymore,and yea,she's a great friend!=]" For we impact people with our speech and what we say.

For example, if a really vulgar person comes into your class and becomes real popular and creates a clique,and this particular person scolds bad words in any way,you'll realise her newly found friends will start to do the same,as in copy the vulgar person's words. So, in the same way, we can impact people with our speech,actions,and personality in God. Sooner or later, people will start to follow our good habits and examples if we act in the image of Jesus!(:

"For you ARE a chosen generation,a royal priesthood,a holy nation, His own special people,that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;who once were not a people but are now the peopls of god,who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." 1stPeter2:9-10

FOR WE ARE A CHOSEN GENERATION!!!We too are the salt and light of this earth!!! "You are the salt of the earth;but if the salt loses its flavour,how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket,but on a lampstand,and it gives light to all who are in the house. Spend time with God everyday as a commitment, and be faithful to prayer group kay?(: for agape is rising up with every step of faith we take against the enemy!!! Break the strongholds of the enemy that is holding you down,for the bible is true, and it has been scientifically proven!!! Miracles have taken place,and the Holy Spirit is in us, quickening us whenever we do something wrong. (: So, what are you waiting for/ Go for it!!!=D

Hello everyone(:
It's Chinese New Year tomorrow, ain't it exciting?!
do you know why it's exciting? First of all, CNY, is a blessing from God, see, during CNY, or any other festive occasion, we all get short holidays or breaks from our hectic studying/working life and get a chance bond with our family members and relatives, and because God gave us awesome gifts of holidays, He is also giving us an opportunity to tell our family and relatives about God(:

So what are you waiting for?! don't use that precious time to talk about stuff that don't really matter, start using opportunities and chances, right in front of your eyes that God has given YOU to tell others about Him! You don't have to pray and wait for the right time to tell others about God, you can start anytime. So why not NOW? And don't do this because you have to, but because you WANT TO. God will see your hard work and it'll all be paid off someday. Remember, JESUS LOVES YOU AND I KNOW YOU LOVE HIM TOO(:

Secondly, I just want to say this to all students from CHIJTPSS,
We are here for you, no matter what kind of help you need, we'll try our very best to help you. We have our prayer group every morning at 7am sharp, it is located at the 5th level staircase(nearer to the performing arts room) in between St. Raphael and St. Gabriel block.
